Seven Covenants

Jesus divided his promises for the Overcomer in seven places in order to conceal them from the Devil.
This shows also that God’s Will will be achieved with the number of seven.

To conceal his covenant for the Overcomer from the Devil, Jesus chose seven churches and spoke about the covenants. He divided the seven churches into three churches and four churches. The covenants delivered to the first three churches start with “he who has an ear” and continues on to “he who overcomes” (Revelation 2:7, 11, 17), and the covenants delivered to the last four churches start with “he who overcomes” and continues on to “he who has an ear.” (Revelation 2:26-29, 3:5-6, 12-13, 21-22)

This was to show that the numbers “3” and “4” make up the number “7”. “3” represents the Heavens, and “4” represents the earth. The fact that Jesus started working at the age of 30, worked for three years, and was resurrected in three days shows that “3” relates to the Heavens. The fact that Moses and David served God for 40 years, Moses talked to God for 40 days at Mount Sinai, and the Land of Canaan was scouted out for 40 days shows that “4” relates to the earth. “3 “and “4” are added to become “7”, and the union of heavens and earth represents the completion of God’s providence. As such, two thousand years have passed without anyone knowing the covenant for the Overcomer.

First Covenant : To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life.” (Revelation 2:7)
The Overcomer is the first human since Adam to hear that mankind could eat the fruit from the Tree of Life. After Adam sinned, he was banished from the Garden of Eden to prohibit them from eating the fruit from the Tree of Life. (Genesis 3:22) In other words, the fruit from the Tree of Life cannot be given to a sinner. Thus, the first person to be free from sin is the Overcomer. Then, has anyone’s sin been washed away before the Overcomer? No. No body. This is because the Lord promised to give the water of life when the Overcomer arrives. (Zechariah 13:1, Revelation 21:6-7) The apostles and martyrs were rewarded not on earth, but in Heaven. Their spirits, which have passed through the Hades and entered God’s world, were before God’s altar, and Jesus gave them fine linen, which are only given to those whose sins have been washed away. (Revelation 6:11) Fine linen is what the righteous, the soldiers of Heaven, wear. (Revelation 19:14) Thus, the Overcomer is the first human being to be eligible.

Second Covenant : He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death.(Revelation 2:11)
This covenant protects the Overcomer from the lake of fire even if he does not complete his mission.

Third Covenant : To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it. (Revelation 2:17)
The hidden manna refers to Jesus’ blood and flesh. Jesus said, “your forefathers ate the manna in the desert, yet they died,” (John 6:49) and said, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.” (John 6:51) Only the Overcomer can receive the water of life. (Revelation 21:6-7) Thus, before the Overcomer’s arrival, no one could receive the water of life. For two thousand years, Christianity did not know about the water of life. White Stone represents Jesus. (Refer to Matthew 21:42, Zechariah 3:9, and Revelation 5:6) Giving the white stone to the Overcomer means that Jesus will be with him. The new name written on the stone is God’s Providence and represents the new plan Jesus established after he received God’s book. This is the momentous secret to destroy the Devil, so no one else will understand other than the one who receives it.

Fourth Covenant : To him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations. (Revelation 2:26)
The nations represent 144,000 kingdoms. There are 144,000 soldiers of God, and after the war against the Devil, they receive their authority to judge and become kings, who reign the people who have passed the judgment. Thus, 144,000 kingdoms are formed. Jesus also received the same authority from God. (Revelation 2:27 and Psalms 2:8-9)

Fifth Covenant : He who overcomes will be dressed in white. I will record his name in the Book of Life and acknowledge his name before my Father. (Revelation 3:5)
Even though Jesus picks the Olive Tree, God decided on the Providence. In addition, Jesus introduces angels who will work with the Overcomer to complete God’s work.

Sixth Covenant : will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. (Revelation 3:12)
God’s name and Jesus’ new name are passed on to the Overcomer, and this represents his learning of God’s Providence. In addition, the New Jerusalem’s name was passed onto him, and the New Jerusalem represents the Wife of the Lamb, or the 144,000 soldiers of Heaven. (Revelation 21:9-10) Thus, Jesus will pass on the list of Wife of the Lamb to the Overcomer, as it is his mission to prepare them. In other words, God will tell the Overcomer who of his followers meet the qualifications to become soldiers of Heaven.

Seventh Covenant : him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit he right to sitwith me on my throne. (Revelation 3:21)
The throne represents authority. Jesus inherited God’s authority after he was crucified and currently governs the Heaven. Similary, Jesus will pass on his authority to the Overcomer.

God’s Covenant : He who overcomes will inherit the spring of the water of life. (Revelation 21:7)
The spring of the water of life is a crucial ingredient to wash away sins (Zechariah 13:1), and comes from Jesus’ blood when he was crucified. (Refer to Zechariah 12:10) The Overcomer receives this and distributes it to those in search of absolution, thereby washing away their sins.

summary, the Overcomer’s mission is to inherit Jesus’ blood and wash away his sins first, use his blood, the water of life, to wash away his followers’ sins, and produce soldiers of Heaven. Once he completes his mission to prepare an army of 144,000 soldiers, he will receive authority over the 144,000 kingdoms of Heaven. This is how Jesus will inherit his throne to the Overcomer.
