Chapter 16

They did not know the meaning of the change from mortal to immortal. Even nowadays people do not know the meaning. Although they have studied many years in the seminary, they do not know the meaning of imperishable change. They still believe that Jesus came back to his physical life from the dead, and then went up to heaven.

People may ask, “How do you know that?” I just know it because the Lord himself showed and explained it to me in detail. When people listen to my sermon, they may say, “Did you have dialogue with God? You must be lying.” It was the same for Jesus. The priests criticized him, “You call yourself the Son of God.” If a person who is not the Son of God insists that he is the Son of God, then he must be really false and spurious. How could the Son of God be false if he said he was the Son of God? It’s an issue about the spirit that we need to know.

He came to this world with the physical body as the prophet Isaiah recorded in the Bible, “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him” (Is. 53:2). But now he does not have the physical body anymore. His life after resurrection has

become holy and glorious spirit.

When two young men going to Emmaoh saw Jesus, they did not recognize him. But when Jesus showed his previous body, they knew it was Jesus. Then he disappeared instantly (Luke 24:31). Because the Bible said that Jesus had his body after resurrection, people have believed that Jesus went up to heaven in his physical body after he came back to life. Heaven is not a place we can enter with our physical bodies. Only if we meet the requirements for eternal life, changing from perishable to imperishable, we can go up to heaven.
